GM Stated That There is No Holiday for the Factory
General Motors (GM) said that it would continue to boost factory production. With this decision, it means the biggest car manufacturer in the United States would not conduct the annual routine maintenance (overhaul) they used to have the summers.
Nine of the eleven factories in the U.S. will remain active in pursuing the request queue under the auspices of several GM brands, including Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac. Usually, the GM did a routine overhaul starting June 28 until July 9.
This situation makes the major component supplier factories, including the engine will still operate. This step is expected that the GM can add additional units of capacity reached 56 000 vehicles.
